AI leaning back vs reaching further

As AI spreads through organisations, a lot of people are leaning back. Expecting to do less. Treating it as a way to shrink the job by getting the same output by doing less work/hours.

I see it the opposite way. AI creates room to move into new capabilities, to expand beyond what was comfortable before by making the uncomfortable exploration of frontiers more comfortable.

Cultures that use AI to coast will lose to cultures that use it to reach further.
